Coach Thomas - He was born in Douglasville, GA and graduated from Douglas County HS in 1978. He played football for DCHS, a 3-year Letterman at quarterback and at free safety. Coach Thomas attended Auburn University from 1978-1981, a 4-year Letterman again at quarterback and at free safety. He then went to professional football as a running back for the Seattle Seahawks until 1983. Coach Thomas has a degree in Physical Education.

He is now a resident of Douglas County and has been employed by the City of Douglasville Parks & Recreation for the past 16 years as Center Director. Coach Thomas enters his 6th season with the Tigers. Charles and his wife Tonya have one son.
