Dear Douglas County High School Tiger Football Parents:
The 2010 High School Football season will begin very soon and so has the excitement of attending DCHS Tiger Football games. I am sure most of you would agree that there is nothing more exciting than Friday night football in Douglasville. The crowded stands, the awesome music from the DCHS Band, the cheers from our DCHS Tiger Cheerleaders, and of course, the play of our mighty DCHS Tigers battling their opponent on the field are all ingredients for a very enjoyable Friday night.

Our DCHS Tigers are anxious and ready to continue the quest to make their season a productive season with a playoff appearance. However, this year just getting there is not enough for our DCHS Tigers. They have begun working hard with the anticipation of making it deep into the 2010 playoff season. This intense preparation starts in the winter off-season and carried forward into the spring football season. In May 2010, the spring game will again be played at DCHS and we look as Boosters to support this event. For many, the training and preparation will continued into the summer by playing in several 7 on 7 tournaments and scrimmages. Our DCHS Tigers cannot wait to "strap it on" and start the 2010 Football season!

The DCHS Tiger’s 2010 season will officially kicked off again this year with our traditional DCHS scrimmage game. I am proud to say that our wonderful friends and longtime DCHS Tiger Football boosters will sponsor many events this year such as a Bowling tournament, and a Scramble Golf Tournament. We will be donating through successful fundraising a SpeedTrac to further enhance our student athletes experience as players this year! I would like to thank all of the devoted DCHS Tiger Moms, Dads and families that have worked tirelessly volunteering their help and support to the 2009 football program and to the Douglas County High School Football Booster Club. A special Thanks to the new 2010 Booster Club Board for your commitment, support, and for their enthusiasm. I am very proud to be a member of a team that has such talented, hard working, and caring individuals.

Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank all of those who support DCHS Tiger Football. The coaches, players, booster club members, and a deeply appreciate for your renewed support and interest in the DCHS Tiger Football program. Your support is greatly appreciated! This year especially, I want to extend a huge thank you to every DCHS Tiger Football sponsor for their support. During these hard times, we appreciate every cent of your donations.

The 2010 DCHS Tiger Football Season promises to be another thrilling season and I look forward to seeing you on Friday nights as our boys fulfill their dreams of playing Georgia 5A High School football!
